Kate is a writer and videographer. Raised in the smallest state across the pond, she’s now made a home for herself in Bundjalung Nation, where her attachment to storytelling has followed, ever-growing with each new face and character she meets.

She’s a little literature-obsessed but promises not to rattle on about it too much, and loves all things film but won’t quote anything unless you ask. She’s worked as a camera assistant on The M Word, shot and produced locally in Byron with Sonik-ino, as well as production coordinator on My Heart Calls For You with BC Pictures. She’s a freelance videographer, having created promotional videos for businesses and fashion labels around Byron, and is a writer and editor for a local magazine.

A passion, a laugh, an argument, a swimsuit, a pottery company—if there’s a company that wants publicity or a person with a story in need of a microphone—count her in. She’s got a camera and a pencil—not a pen, she can’t spell. But she’s got autocorrect on her computer and a hunger to turn your vision into something special.
